Empower U Community Health Center( EUCHC) is a thriving Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in the heart of Liberty City, proudly serving both insured and uninsured individuals and families. We provide comprehensive primary care, dental care, behavioral health, chronic disease management, and preventive care delivered with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and clinical excellence. Our team of dedicated providers, public health professionals, and executive leaders work together to ensure that every patient receives high-quality, affordable care regardless of their ability to pay.

 

Since becoming an FQHC in 2013, Empower U Community Health Center has continued to expand its services and deepen its impact breaking down barriers to care and advancing health equity for communities that have long been underserved.

Empower U Community Health Center's powerful journey began in 1999, when two courageous women living with HIV in Liberty City recognized the urgent need for a health organization that understood and reflected the community it served. Refusing to be defined by their diagnosis, they founded a peer-based, minority-led nonprofit committed to advocacy, outreach, and culturally competent care. What started as a grassroots HIV education initiative has grown into a trusted community institution providing holistic, person-centered care to thousands.
