Dr. Marjorie Lozama, DNP

Marjorie Lozama is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Barry University. Marjorie embraced the field of psychiatry because she recognized the disparities among minority populations and worked diligently to help bridge the gap. Her background and experience have focused on adult patients with various psychiatric disorders. Marjorie is multilingual and multicultural and prides herself in delivering comprehensive patient-centered care, including brief psychotherapy and psychotropic medications if indicated.

When she is not working with patients, Marjorie often serves in various community organizations. She is a remarkable community servant leader who has donated countless hours to help improve and enrich the lives of those around her. She is dedicated to collaborating with organizations to promote awareness and advocates to decrease the stigma attached to mental health and build sustainable mental health care in her local community and her native country, Haiti.
