Dr. Ivan D. Rodriguez brings over three decades of medical, academic, and leadership excellence to Empower "U", Inc., where he currently serves as Interim Co-Chief Medical Officer. A board-certified family medicine physician and seasoned educator, Dr. Rodriguez is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and community-centered care.

Dr. Rodriguez earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Nova Southeastern University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Michigan State University. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Palmetto General Hospital, with a strong focus on comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Rodriguez has served as Medical Director at numerous healthcare institutions, including Chapters Hospice, Gentiva Hospice, South Dade Nursing and Rehab, and Larkin Community Hospital, where he also directed the Graduate Medical Education and Family Medicine Residency programs. He continues to serve as a Clinical Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

With a passion for serving diverse and underserved populations, Dr. Rodriguez has built a legacy of trust, integrity, and clinical excellence. He holds active memberships with the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Rodriguez is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and maintains affiliations with several area hospitals, including Palmetto General Hospital and Larkin Community Hospital. His specialties include Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, with a steadfast commitment to holistic, evidence-based healthcare.
