James A. Hill, MHSA, is an executive health and social services professional with nearly three decades of leadership experience advancing organizational excellence across nonprofit, healthcare, and community-based service sectors. He is widely recognized for his ability to strengthen governance, build high-performing systems, and guide organizations through complex regulatory, licensing, and accreditation environments. Throughout his career, James has served as a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards, and leadership teams—driving strategic planning, operational transformation, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, secure funding, and expand community impact. His expertise spans corporate compliance, program development, facilities oversight, and quality management, with a proven record of leading organizations through Joint Commission, CARF, and HRSA Section 330 (FQHC) accreditation and review processes.
In addition to his executive roles, James has built a career as an independent compliance and organizational development consultant, supporting numerous South Florida nonprofits in strengthening infrastructure, developing policies and procedures, and preparing for behavioral health and human services accreditation. His earlier leadership posts—including Compliance Officer at Empower U, Director of Quality Assurance and Program Manager at Broward House, and Development Director at Community Rightful Center—underscore his commitment to improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations. James holds a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Barry University, along with past credentials as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Addiction Professional. He continues to serve his community through board leadership roles with the Circle of Brotherhood and Little River Clubhouse, reflecting his longstanding dedication to service, equity, and community empowerment.
